ETHIOPIAN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY: ADAMA SATELLITE CAMPUS
Last year in number of students enrolled in the four departments exceeded 200. A new department, Wood science, was opened in 2021 and that makes it the 6th department of the college. Currently, our campus is training with more than 15 staff over 300 students in the six departments and in all programs.

Ethiopian Technical University, Adama Satellite Campus, started operation in 2017 by providing training to Automotive Technology department students. The department had 12 students, 1 instructor and a coordinator. The campus has been expanding itself to five departments namely:

Ethiopian Technical University Adama Satellite Campus is one of the satellite branchs of the university. The Campus offers different training programs under different departments. The campus is coordinated by the training coordinator, Mr. GizachewTafera. The campus offers training in weekend, extension and regular program. The regular students are assigned to the college by the regional government to upgrade them from C- level to 1st degree level.

Since the inception of Adama Polytechnic College Satellite Campus, there have been many projects that the university’s students have undertaken for the fulfillment of their final studies and graduations. Among those projects constructing a table tennis playing board by Construction Technology students is exemplary. All the other students in the five departments had also contributed their share by doing research based projects to solve the societal problems.
